This series explores a world where men can have emotionally and physically close friendships—the way women are often free to be in their friendships—without shame. “Male Friendship” aims to normalize male emotional intimacy.

The emotional isolation of men in our society starts at birth and is enforced throughout a man's life. As a result, male friendships are emotionally callous and seem to barely scratch the surface. It’s the women close to these men who are often the ones that shoulder their emotional burden. The mental health and well-being of the men in our lives—be it friends, partners, fathers—affects us all. This series serves as an example of a safe space for men to lean on one another emotionally.
